SOLD. 1920s period Watermans IDEAL Model 52 fountain pen. Made in the U.S.A. Clipless, but a standard detachable pocket clip may be fitted. This model was firstly produced in 1913 and was highly successful still in production in the late 1920s. The chased pattern of wavy lines is prominent having no apparent wear. This pen is in excellent condition. The Watermans gold nib is a Manifold semi flexible type there is no iridium tip on the rather broad point nib. Ink filling is by side lever a new rubber ink sac has been fitted
