Description
Wyvern Consul fountain pen circa 1949 to 1950s. Manufactured in beautifully patterned mottled shades of light emerald green and darker green pearls. The pocket clip has the outline emblem of the Leicester coat of arms Wyvern Dragon. The gold plating on the pocket clip the side lever and the three trim bands is in perfect condition. The Wyvern 14 carat gold nib also has the outline of the barb tailed Dragon engraved on it, a medium point size and virtually as new condition nib. The three rolled gold trim bands showing this to be one of the Wyvern top quality models. Established as manufacturers of fountain pens in the 1890s the Wyvern company folded and ceased production by the mid 1950s.
