Referred to as the Big Red the pen which General MacArthur used onboard the United States battleship Missouri when signing acceptance of the Japanese surrender with the representative for Japan Chief Admiral Sadaoshi Tomioka who signed using a Parker 51 fountain pen thus ending World War Two.

Ink filling is by button method accessed by unscrewing the black section at the end of the pens barrel, a new rubber ink sac has been fitted. The authentic large size medium point Parker Duofold Canada gold nib is in perfect condition. Having the ball end design quality gold plated pocket clip which has Parker engraved on it there is some light wear of the plating on the highpoint of the clips ball and at the top of the clip which is not prominent, the gold plating on the caps two trim bands in in perfect condition.
