A Damascene vintage face powder compact of the type used in the 1920s 30s by Oriental Ladies of good social standing. The superb craftsmanship of the inlaid 24 carat gold and pure silver artwork is beautifully done, set against Mount Fugi representing Japan in the background, depicting a fishing boat and pagoda style temple with foliage.
