Date marked for 1944 A Parker 51 fountain pen coloured in gloss jet black. The cap is 12 carat quality thickness rolled gold.
The nib protruding from the forward hood section has a broad left oblique size point. Ink filling is easily done by unscrewing the barrel section to access the pressure bar. An excellent everyday fountain pen of the best known design.
